Since 1990, I have been a vegan, so don't worry, the chicken in the picture (right) is in a lot less danger than might otherwise appear to be the case. The jacket, incidentally, is not real leather. So appearances can be deceptive. The dog (Shona) is real enough though. |

The Strawbs are another of my long-time favourite bands.
I was heavily into David Bowie when I was much younger, but these days I am still seriously impressed by Alice Cooper.
I'm a big admirer of Jacques Brel too.
By the way, this guy is no relation:
My all time favourite band is Lindisfarne, and I have the honour of maintaining a web site for one of the founding members, Rod Clements.

I was born in Irvine, brought up in Troon, went to University in Glasgow, since which time I
have lived and worked in Stranraer, Dumfries, Manchester, Stockport, and Glasgow again. I now
live in Thornhill, about ten miles north-west of Stirling.
